How the mighty are fallen!

Chapels once mighty Market, is nowadays down to just two stalls, both of these are admittedly impressive, and the operators  Bev and Richard have proved to be stalwarts of the traditional type, braving many bleak and cold Thursdays to bring some relief to our pets and wildlife, and wonderful greenery and flowers to our gardens.

Now it seems to us that nowhere does the phrase “use it or loose it” apply more appropriately, so summer (??) is starting and the good citizens of Chapel need to come together with “Totally Locally Chapel-en-le-Frith” to revive our Market and get it back to being an interesting and valuable place to visit We are asking the Council to assist us with incentives to attract more traders to the Market, and we are looking for ideas and suggestions from everyone

• Do you know someone who might be interested in a Market Day Stall – well ask them about it!
• Have you ideas to brighten the Market day and attract both traders and customers – tell us and start doing it!
